One of these is the English cemetery of Val Magnaboschi, run directly by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission; near the former Italian-Austrian cemetery. Today 180 of those battles are buried there. In 1918, British soldiers were involved in the defence of the territories west of the Plateau, especially during the desperate Austro-Hungarian offensive of 15 June 1918.A complex system of trenches, armored posts and shelters was built to this day. It is certainly worth remembering the system of trenches and armoured stations in the well present both on the Zovetto and at the saddle between the Lemerle and the Magnaboschi and the defensive tunnel carved in the rocky ridge of the west slopes of the Zovetto within which there are still inscriptions of the English departments operating there.EnvironmentalTypical pre-alpine environment with alternation of woods and clearings.Quote request: info@guidealtopiano.com - 340 7347864
